Representative La'Tasha D. Mayes Swearing-In Bus
It's time to get on the bus to Harrisburg for the swearing-in of Pennsylvania State Representative La'Tasha D. Mayes!
On Tuesday, January 3, 2023, Representative-Elect Mayes will make it official becoming the first woman to ever represent House District 24. Representative-Elect Mayes will also make history as the first out lesbian ever elected to the Pennsylvania General Assembly.
For the community that has supported Representative-Elect Mayes and anyone who does not want to make that grueling drive to the State Capitol on the PA Turnpike, we have charted a bus for your convenience.
It will be a full day of celebration so why not sit back, relax and enjoy the ride?!
Below is a general itinerary and it is subject to change. For those who can afford to pay for your ticket, purchase your tickets on this page. We estimate the cost per seat at $50 roundtrip.

7:00AM: Departing from East Liberty Presbyterian Church
11:00AM: Arrive at the State Capitol in Harrisburg
12:00PM: Swearing-In Ceremony
1:30PM*: Various Receptions
4:00PM: Departing from State Capitol
8:00PM: Arrive Back to East Liberty Presbyterian Church
